Pharmacological action of
Ivermectin, the active substance of Novomek, has a systemic and contact effect on lice, bloodsuckers, pathogens of gadfly diseases, sarcoptoidosis, wolfarthiosis and helminthiases caused by nematodes. Entering the body of the parasite, it stimulates the release by the nerve endings of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid and strengthens its connection with receptors of nerve cells. Thus, it blocks the passage of nerve impulses and causes paralysis, and then the death of the parasite in the body of the animal. Novomek has low toxicity for warm-blooded animals in doses used against pathogens of parasitic diseases, it is not dangerous for animals.
For parasitic diseases of animals (lice, bloodsuckers, pathogens of gadfly diseases, sarcoptoidoses, wolfarthiosis and helminthiases caused by nematodes).
