Hematogen – a means of correcting metabolic processes. A source of high-grade protein, fats, carbohydrates and minerals, which are contained in proportions close to the composition of human blood. The drug stimulates blood formation, promotes the absorption of iron in the intestine, increases the hemoglobin content in the blood, and regulates redox processes in the body.
As an additional treatment for anemia of various origins, especially posthemorrhagic and iron deficiency conditions, accompanied by malnutrition, cachexia during convalescence after various diseases.
Recommended use for
Hematogen is taken orally. For prophylactic purposes, it is prescribed to children over 2 years of age, adolescents and adults, 1-2 plates 2-3 times a day for 1-2 months. During convalescence after suffering from iron deficiency anemia, the drug is prescribed 2 tiles per day for 2 months.
